The Talmud-Torah is a fun, friendly place that joins the many children in our community together. Its goal is to instill Jewish values and knowledge, and immerse our children in strong community atmosphere, and share the beauty of our heritage. We focus on providing individual attention and guidance to each student to enable them to advance and maximize the resources available to them.
Our Wednesday afternoon program begins with excerpts of songs from the Tefilla, followed by an animated rendition of the weekly sidra.
Our Wednesday afternoon program begins with excerpts of songs from the Tefilla, followed by an animated rendition of the weekly sidra.

Afterwards, four different workshops, led by qualified instructors, are offered:
- Dinim(laws) and Holidays
- Modern Hebrew
- Biblical Personalities
- Chumash
The children choose two workshops per week, and work individually at their own pace. Each session of Talmud-Torah is completed with a song or dance, and a tasty snack. The Talmud Torah course is free for the children of our community members but an annual charge of CHF 60.- per child is requested for school supplies.
The Talmud Torah courses cost for children of non-members. The annual flat rate is CHF 600.-
Please note that children’s menus are offered each Wednesday at the community restaurant, and that Talmud-Torah lessons are often followed by recreational activities directed by the Youth Club.
